The 9/11 Conspiracy is not a Theory anymore

How reasonable is it to label something a “conspiracy theory” without having first investigated the evidence to determine its validity? No one has the right to pass judgment before hearing the case.

Don’t swallow without question the “official story”. Consider the following shocking and revealing findings about 9/11:

1. Introductory Statements

There is overwhelming well-documented evidence from numerous and credible sources—websites, books, videos, renowned individuals in high office, etc.—that point to the probability of a masterfully orchestrated 9/11 conspiracy planned and executed by the U.S. government. Why? To rally public support for its agendas, i.e. the war on terrorism, interests in oil, etc.

A Zogby poll found 49.7% of New York residents—the figure in Canada is 63% and in Europe, even higher—believe that the Bush administration was complicit in the events of 9/11, either by having foreknowledge and “letting it happen” or by actually orchestrating the event.

With the nation in the throes of war and the upcoming presidential election, it seems that the most pivotal event in recent history—9/11—is not getting the attention it deserves. Millions of individuals, driven by concern and hungry for accurate information, are flocking to the Internet and alternative media for answers the mainstream journalists are not delivering.

People expect more from the media than what they have been getting. The American public deserves to know the truth. Reporting the news is a moral obligation to uphold the journalist’s code of ethics, and must not be driven by job security, a paycheck or a popularity contest for ratings. It is a journalist’s duty to investigate the truth behind 9/11 and deliver it fairly, honestly and courageously.

A journalist who neglects to investigate the evidence and to report the truth consigns himself to living with the guilt of being complicit in the crime.

Deeper investigation into the truth behind 9/11 may cause you to re-evaluate your core beliefs about our government and its motivations.

All of the questions raised here are based on evidence brought forth in videos, photographs, eyewitness accounts, and declarations made by credible individuals, including government insiders. This information is available to anyone who cares to dig deeper.

2. Startling questions about what really happened on 9/11 that are still unanswered:

What happened to the over 20 documented warnings given to our government by 14 foreign intelligence agencies or heads of state?

Why was Sibel Edmonds, a former FBI translator—who has first hand knowledge of advance warnings—publicly silenced with a gag order by Attorney General Ashcroft?

If the government claims that it had no prior knowledge of the attack, how did they also immediately come to the conclusion that Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden were responsible for the attack without even a thorough examination of the scene and the rubble?

Why was the Bin Laden family whisked away out of the country shortly after the attack while all other airplanes were grounded?

Why did standard FAA and NORAD operating procedures for dealing with hijacked airlines simultaneously fail that day, even though they had activated in 67 instances during the previous year?

What bizarre coincidence can account for that fact that NORAD and NRO were conducting several war games the morning of 9/11, war games consisting of simulated responses to a scenario in which hijacked planes were crashed into buildings?

Why did the government rapidly recycle the steel from the largest and most mysterious engineering failure in world history?

Building 7 was the third skyscraper to collapse into rubble on September 11, 2001. According to the government, small fires leveled this building. But, not one steel-framed high-rise building in history has ever collapsed due to fire. The collapse, with attendant melted steel, exhibited all the characteristics of a controlled demolition, according to leading demolition experts. Silverstein, said on TV that he decided to “pull” (demolish) Building 7 that afternoon. Such a demolition would have had to be planned in advance, as a demolition of such magnitude and complexity cannot be evaluated, designed, equipped and executed in a mere few hours. Such an undertaking requires weeks of preparation.

Why did President Bush publicly declare in a Florida town hall meeting several months after the attack that he saw the first plane strike the towers on television that morning, when such footage was not available until it was publicly televised the following day, 9/12? And why, knowing of the attack, he proceeded to enter the classroom of preschoolers to read them a story about a pet goat? In his own words, he explained that the reason for not taking action for the emergency was because he was “whisked off, and didn’t have time.” And then, after being told about the attack of a second plane, Mr. Bush still neglected to respond, continuing to read to the children. Later, he tried to explain away his behavior by claiming that he didn’t want to alarm the children. Why hadn’t he politely excused himself, and then, make a few phone calls? Should we expect anything less from the President of the United Stated in an emergency of such magnitude?

Upon being told that the second tower had been hit, why did Bush not consider himself—and the school—a potential next target, and leave the school immediately? Why was there no fighter-plane escort when he finally did leave?

Why were the extensive missile and air defenses around the Pentagon not activated during the attack?

If a 757 plane purportedly crashed into the Pentagon, how is it possible that firemen who arrived at the scene found that the roof and side of the building were still intact, except for a hole that was 18 feet in diameter (much narrower than the 125-ft. wingspan of a commercial airplane). If the jet fuel was capable of melting steel girders, why, when the roof collapsed, were rooms immediately adjacent to the walls that had been sheared nearly untouched. For example, photos and video footage show a computer on one floor, an open book, and wooden stool on another—all undamaged by fire.

3. Many government insiders and other prominent people are speaking out regarding surfacing 9/11 information:

Stanley Hilton, Senator Bob Dole’s former chief of staff, has filed a $7 billion lawsuit on behalf of the victims of 9/11 that exposes what actually happened behind the scenes, based on interviews with dozens of military officers and eyewitnesses. He says he has proof that George W. Bush ordered the 9/11 destruction.

Attorney Philip Berg has filed a lawsuit against the Bush administration officials on behalf of Ellen Mariani, whose husband died on 9/11. It alleges “prior knowledge of 9/11, knowingly failing to act, prevent or warn of 9/11, and ongoing obstruction of justice by covering up the truth of 9/11 . . .” and names Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, and others.

Investigative author Michael Ruppert, speaking of his book Crossing the Rubicon says, “I will name Richard Cheney as prime suspect in the mass murders of 9/11 and establish that . . . on the day of the attacks he was running a completely separate Command, Control and Communications System which was superceding any orders being issued by the NMCC or the White House Situation Room. I will establish conclusively that, by presidential order, Richard Cheney was put in direct command and control of all war game and field exercise training . . . this extended to all of the conflicting and overlapping NORAD drills on 9/11.”

David Ray Griffin, distinguished professor of philosophy of religion at Claremont School of Theology, has authored The New Pearl Harbor, which eviscerates the official story about 9/11.

Andreas Von Buelow, former Defense Minister of Germany, alleges in his book that the CIA was involved in perpetrating 9/11.

Jim Marrs’ exposé book, Inside Job, summarizes evidence and points to the conspiring parties.

Whistleblowers from diverse quarters are coming forth to provide even more evidence. These go further than Richard Clarke, former counter-terrorism czar, in their accusations of wrongdoing. They include Lt. Col. Steve Butler, former vice-chancellor at the Navy’s Monterey Defense Language Institute, who told the press he believed Bush knew about the impending attacks. And Bill Manning, editor of the 125-year-old Fire Engineering magazine, wrote that the official investigation into the collapse of the towers by fire was a “half-baked farce”.

Ray McGovern, a former CIA agent and a member of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, told an audience “to say that no one could prevent 9/11 was a bold-faced lie. It let the president and those responsible off the hook.”

4. Closing statements:

This story is of vital interest to the American public. All citizens—especially media professionals of conscience—have a moral obligation to join this search for truth, no matter where it leads. Our national security and our democracy demand nothing less from us.

It’s time to let the world know about what’s really going on. We must, as citizens, join collectively and mobilize to blow the whistle on the administration’s lies and deceptions. Spread the word to family and friends, reporters, bloggers, web lists, and online news sites. If enough people do this in the week before the election, the result will be a powerful national catharsis that opens the way for a new and healthier government.

Educating oneself, gaining knowledge and acquiring information takes it a step further.

Caring about the situation and wanting it to change are admirable sentiments.

But, only by taking action can we expect to effect change.

Truth is the point. Without truth there can be neither choice nor democracy. And without democracy there can be neither peace nor justice. Those who have sought peace and justice must now fight first for truth.
